Le militant panafricaniste béninois Kémi Séba a été interpellé ce lundi 15 octobre à Paris, selon une source proche du dossier. Les raisons de cette interpellation n’ont pas été révélées. Âgé de 42 ans, Kémi Séba, de son vrai nom Stellio Gilles Robert Capo Chichi, est connu pour ses positions anti-occidentales et a été déchu de sa nationalité française en juillet dernier.
En mars, une tentative d’interdiction d’une de ses conférences par la préfecture de l’Essonne avait été suspendue par le tribunal administratif. Depuis août, il détient un passeport diplomatique du Niger, où il est conseiller spécial du Président nigérien le général Abdourahamane Tiani.
Kémi Séba, ancien leader de la Tribu Ka, a été plusieurs fois condamné pour incitation à la haine raciale et est actuellement à la tête du groupe Urgences panafricanistes. Il a été accusé d’être un « relais de la propagande russe » et de favoriser le sentiment antifrançais en France.
