Le militant panafricaniste béninois Kémi Séba a été arrêté le 14 octobre à Paris par la DGSI. Il est accusé d’entretenir des liens avec une puissance étrangère dans le but de nuire à la France et d’atteinte aux droits fondamentaux, ce qui pourrait lui valoir jusqu’à 30 ans de prison.
Son avocat, Juan Branco, dénonce des accusations motivées par des raisons politiques. Déchu de sa nationalité française en juillet, Séba était à Paris avec un visa Schengen pour rencontrer des opposants béninois. Son arrestation a provoqué une vague de soutien sur les réseaux sociaux, notamment de la militante Nathalie Yamb.
