Ce lundi 25 novembre, lors de la douzième semaine du procès, le procureur a requis la peine la plus lourde à l’encontre de Dominique Pelicot.
En effet, le ministère public a demandé une peine de 20 ans de réclusion criminelle pour Dominique Pelicot, principal accusé dans l’affaire des viols de Mazan.
Il est accusé d’avoir drogué et violé son ex-épouse, Gisèle. Ces réquisitions coïncident avec la journée internationale de lutte contre les violences faites aux femmes et signifient une étape importante dans un procès qui est en cours depuis douze semaines.
Les avocats de la défense auront trois semaines pour plaider, à commencer par l’avocate de Dominique Pelicot, Béatrice Zavarro. Cela durera jusqu’au 13 décembre. Ensuite, les juges auront une semaine pour délibérer, avec un verdict attendu pour le 20 décembre au plus tard.
