Les agents de la Brigade de Répression de l’Insécurité (BRI) Sud ont déjoué une tentative de braquage à Agboville. Alertés par une source anonyme, les policiers ont surveillé deux suspects, S.B., un planteur burkinabé, et N’D K.F., un Ivoirien se présentant comme technicien. Sur place, les forces de l’ordre découvrent un pistolet et un chargeur rempli de munitions dissimulés.
Sous pression, les suspects révèlent l’existence d’un troisième complice, T.O., localisé à N’Douci. Une perquisition menée chez ce dernier permet la saisie d’un arsenal comprenant un fusil de chasse, un pistolet Ekol Firat Magnum, des munitions et un grand couteau de chasse.
L’opération s’est conclue par l’arrestation des trois hommes et la saisie de leurs armes. L’affaire a été transmise à la justice pour la suite des procédures.
