Le frère aîné du footballeur Paul Pogba est jugé depuis mardi au tribunal correctionnel de Paris pour extorsion et complot criminel.
En effet, Mathias Pogba, accompagné de cinq complices présumés, est accusé d’avoir tenté d’obtenir 13 millions d’euros de son frère cadet Paul Pogba en 2022, usant de menaces, de violences et d’un enlèvement.
Selon l’enquête, Mathias et ses complices reprochaient à Paul Pogba de ne pas avoir suffisamment soutenu financièrement ses proches après son ascension au rang de star mondiale du football. Paul Pogba a admis avoir versé 100 000 euros sous la contrainte, Mais des tensions familiales ont éclaté, nuisant gravement à son image.
Le procès, prévu pour une semaine, pourrait se solder par de lourdes peines pour les accusés. Paul Pogba a son côté, choisi de ne pas assister aux audiences.
